Dog First Aid is not nationally recognised training on the Australian Training Framework. This is a non-accredited course. There is currently NO accredited course in Australia under this framework for dog first aid. There is no such thing as a "certified" course within the Australian training Framework either.
While our canine first aid courses are not officially accredited within Australia, Dog First Aid Australia proudly aligns its curriculum with the nationally recognised competencies such as: ACMGAS206 - Provide Basic First Aid for Animals, and follows principles of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
This ensures our training meets rigorous professional standards—giving you confidence and peace of mind that you're learning from qualified, trusted experts dedicated to the highest standards of canine care. We have also filed to have our course nationally accredited, which would make it the first and only one in Australia.

"Excellent day. Ash is a natural teacher; honest, forthright and at all times himself, which allows his intense love of dogs and caring for them to come through. If you have a pet then you need to be prepared to look after them when everything goes t!ts up, to give them the best chance before you get them to the vet. Hope for the best but prepare for the worst. Plenty of hands-on activities to give you confidence should the need arise. Highly recommended for all dog owners."
