Our dog first aid training course is the only 8-hour, in-person program in Australia that covers the full cycle of a canine emergency response! 

While most pet first aid courses teach pet owners the basics, Dog First Aid Australia offers real-world, hands-on training designed specifically for dog owners, dog businesses, working handlers, and the unique high-risk conditions in Australia. 

After completing the course, you will be equipped to handle various emergency situations, including: 

- Recognising a health and/or emergency situation 

- Preparing for an emergency 

- Managing more emergencies than a standard human first aid course covers 

- Seeking veterinary attention effectively 

- Understanding the resources to address post-incident stress reactions 

Community Support - We donate either a tampon pack or pad pack for every student who enrolls in our courses to Share the Dignity. 

This course is not designed to replace professional veterinary care; rather, it prepares you to transport your dog from the point of injury to a veterinary clinic in a safe and stable manner. 

We foster a realistic yet supportive learning environment. Some topics involve real-world canine emergencies and may be confronting, but the material is delivered with respect and care. The goal is not to frighten you; instead, we aim to replace uncertainty with a practical plan.
